Paul Tan

Paul is CEO and co-founder of IFS Asset Management (IFSAM) and its flagship fund – the IFSAM Private Credit Fund. He  joined IFSAM in September 2020. 

Paul spent 12 years in the fund management industry working at two investment boutique firms in Singapore that manage value based, public equity funds with Asia ex Japan strategies. In his role as fundraiser and investor relations manager, Paul raised capital and managed the requirements of institutional investors, ultra high and high net worth individuals, for Whitefield Capital Management and New Harbour Capital Partners.

Prior to joining the fund management industry in 2010, Paul spent 20 years in the banking industry in various senior management roles in operations, product management, and marketing & communications, for the global transaction services business of Citibank Singapore and BankBoston Asia and US. He began his banking career in SME banking with a foreign bank based in Singapore. 

From 1999 to 2007, Paul led banking consulting practices for Ernst & Young and IBM Financial Services, working with banks in ASEAN to build and launch their transaction services business.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Sociology) Degree from the University of Singapore (National University of Singapore).

Raymond Tan

Raymond joined IFS Asset Management Private Limited in June 2023 as a Risk Manager.

In his capacity as Risk Manager, Raymond provides an additonal layer of control/support towards ensuring a robust loan portfolio aligned with the Group’s and IFSAM lending practices, criteria and policies from origination to repayment with consideration towards a balanced risk/reward approach to risk underwriting and attainment of IFSAM’s required return on assets. 

As a Credit Manager, Raymond has more than 30 years’ international banking experience across diverse industries. Established track record in maintaining healthy risk policy standards and credit risk portfolio management while supporting business volumes efficiently and profitably at all levels. Areas of specialised credit skills include Corporate Banking (incl. the SME sector), Trade Finance and Project Finance and to a limited extent in handling Distressed Assets and knowledge of commercial and investment (treasury) related products. His career spans across primarily major European Banks including Deutsche Bank, Rabo International and BNP Paribas.

Raymond has a degree in Business Administration from then University of Singapore (National University of Singapore) and until recently, was Fellow member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants and a Non-practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. 

Thomas Tang

Thomas joined IFS Asset Management Private Limited in May 2021. 

In his capacity as Vice President, Business Development, Thomas will be primarily responsible for developing and risk managing loan and credit portfolios for IFS Asset Management. He has more than 20 years of experience  in commercial  lending with SMEs in varied industries including real estate, construction and transportation. 

Thomas was a Team Head in IFS Capital Ltd leading a team of relationship managers to drive the growth of sales targets while maintaining  a quality credit portfolio though credit evaluation and financial analysis before joining IFS Asset Management Private Limited. Prior to joining IFS Capital Ltd, Thomas has worked in banks and financial institutions handling corporate and commercial banking accounts. 

He also has regional financing experience working for  an MNC spearheading the promotion, development and implementation of sales financing schemes, products and solutions for Asia (including China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia) with financial institutions, distributors and end-buyers

Iris Ang

Ms. Iris Ang is the Chairperson and Director of IFS Asset Management Private Limited.

She joined IFS Capital Limited as the Group Chief Financial Officer in February 2017. She is responsible for all accounting, financial and treasury management functions, including debt and equity fund raising and managing investor relations for the IFS Capital Group. She is also a Director of IFS Consumer Services Private Limited

Prior to joining the IFS Capital Group, she has over 10 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer in several listed companies in Singapore. Iris holds a professional qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants

Goh Chong Theng

Chong Theng is an Independent Director on the board of IFS Asset Management Private Limited (“IFSAM”). His primary role is to safeguard the interest of the investors.

He has 29 years of senior level banking experience with major global banks such as Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, ABN AMRO and Rabobank International. He has extensive senior leadership roles in Standard Chartered Bank, ABN AMRO and also OCBC Bank with managerial responsibility for their major profit centres. In Rabobank, he was the General Manager for Singapore Branch and also covered the South East Asian region.

Chong Theng has been on the board of several SGX Listed Companies as an Independent Director and also Chairman of their Audit and Risk Committees. He is currently the CFO of a Family Office in Singapore and a trainer at SMU for various courses which have been approved and accredited by the Singapore Institute of Banking & Finance

Chong Theng holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Mcgill University, Montreal Canada (1980) and a Bachelor of Computer Science - University of Windsor, Windsor Canada (1978).

Randy Sim

Mr. Randy Sim is a Director of IFS Asset Management Private Limited.

He joined IFS Capital Limited in February 2016 as the Country Head and Chief Executive Officer of Singapore. He is now the Group Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the overall business and operations of all lines of businesses and entities across IFS Capital Group.

Randy has more than 14 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He began his career with the Singapore Economic Development Board and was responsible for promoting investments into Singapore and industry strategy development. He then joined Citibank as a Management Associate and spent 8 years in Citibank across its consumer and commercial banking business. He managed the commercial loan portfolio for CitiBusiness, led a sales team managing more than 500 SME clients, managed an individual portfolio of Middle Market clients and eventually led a Middle Market sales team to deliver credit, trade, cash, treasury and capital market solutions. He was also part of the Capital Markets Origination team prior to joining IFS Capital Limited.

Randy graduated from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
